Our Contract services focus on Writing, Analysing, Maintaining, Testing and debugging your old or new applications on your DB2 database for the AS400. Systems written in RPG, ILE, SDA, SQL, or CL can be designed with ease, to your specifications and standards. All programming is thoroughly tested before 'going live', so you can rest assured of a smooth transission. We can also Provide Support and Training for users and helpdesk personnel, on how to operate the systems that we have written. We could, if required, train and aid other programmers with their coding and system procedures. We have created many systems and have completed countless long/short-term projects. This includes EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), gathering customer orders via a BT mailbox and introducing them into main system. The same system could, if required, also send advice notes and invoices direct to your customers. We have used many utilities for the AS/400 and have written programs to utilise them. One of which writes purchase orders, progress/enquiry letters, Invoices, Order acknowledgements to a package TLX400 Fax system. Adding Zebra bar-coding equipment and writing system interfaces to produce the labels from programs on the AS/400. Other projects we have written include, Accounting, Invoicing, Warehousing and Distribution, Inspection (Quality Control), Sales Order Processing, JIT (Just In Time), Purchasing, Stock Control, Euro/Dollar and Y2k Conversion, Communications, Special Projects (completed to customers specifications), and many more. All systems include a variation of screens, Subfiles (Windowed, Dual or normal). Using Screen Design Aid- (SDA)), reports, interacting with CL (Control Language) and file creation/Update (RPG or ILE). Some special projects require overlays from Ezprint. This package allows us to print professional graphic logos and form overlays directly from the AS/400, thus saving money on pre-printed stationery. We have had a great deal of experience and success retrieving information from DB2 tables via the ODBC from Personal Communications and PHP on web servers linked to the AS/400. The server does not need to be connected to the internet in order to accomplish this. Instead you can use this technique for an Intranet (internal company use) or the internet (Firewall recommended). When the information is retrieved PHP can handle the data into any form you want. PHP is a more powerful language than RPG or RPG/ILE and is extremely versatile. This does not only pave the way for more exciting projects for your company, but if you link the server to the internet the following projects could be available to you-: 1) Secure Online Statements, Invoicing and delivery notes for your customers.
