I am using a date field in display file as a input/output numeric with EDTWRD (' / / ') AND EDTMSK(' & & '). When the date is blank i.e when the date field contains *zeros, you cannot see the '/' character in the display file.It will be like :_________ But when the date field contains some value then it is displayed like :11/12/97. I want to display like :___/___/___ when the date field does not contain any value. so that I want to accept the value from the user.

Is there any solution for this?
