| Externally defined data structures in modules |  | ||

Can someone explain why, when I define an externally defined file data structure in a module with nomain, the data structure is not populated when I read data from the file associated with that data structure? I know you cannot pass data structures to/from modules as you would a normal paramater. Is this related somehow? Thanks
